This jacket is great---much more tailored and fitted than the W's Compressor PL I bought years ago. It's lightweight, quite warm for such a slim jacket, and takes little space to pack. The features are great---soft fleece inside the pockets, hood is warm and has a drawstring that cinches it down on the head. The previous version I had was great in the field, dried quickly when it got wet or damp, and lasted for a number of month-long back-country trips; I have faith that this one will last just as long.

I would recommend this product.

Compressor Jacket

I love this jacket. This is my second one, and its almost as amazing as the first. I like the wrists of the old version better, but this one is still warm and wonderful. Perfect for a winter coat on not-too-cold days, and also great for layering. I would recommend it to anyone.

Cozy and comfortable

This is my second MHW jacket. I could have gone with a size smaller. If you want room for layers underneath order your true size. If you prefer to be more fitted order a size smaller. I have worn the coat almost everyday. It is very comfortable. I like that it slides on easily. The lined pocket are deeps and warm. It cuts in a bit at the waist which gives it a nice look and not so bulky. This is an extremely warm coat and is very light weight, hard to find. I have to be outside for work moving things and directing traffic.It's perfect.

I work in an old brick and mortar building with no insulation; where temperatures can be just as cold inside as it is outside. This jacket was my answer to a comfy, cozy workday! Its extremely light weight, and allows easy maneuverability. You feel warm almost instantly.
The Compressor technology is a big plus for me. I've gotten a number of compliments on its sleek step away from typical down filled jackets.

Great Fit and Design

Although I am a size 10, I usually have to buy a large jacket in order to have room for a fleece underneath. I purchased this jacket in a medium and it has room for a fleece underneath without looking loose and sloppy. I also like the overall design: The hood snugs up nicely around the face and is easy to adjust at a single point on the back; the sides are tapered slightly at the waist, and areas that might get dirty faster are made of a darker material.
