This the second MH Zip Tee that I own. They are great for layering in winter, and stand alone, the rest of the year. I really the lightweight fabric

I now own three Power Stretch Zip Tees. My oldest is easily 15 or 16 years old. The new version has thumbs holes and a little longer cut than my older models...nice additions. This piece is indestructable! I use mine as a casual top, a sweatshirt for cool weather hiking, and a thermal layer for winter snowshoe jaunts.

Power Stretch Zip Tee

I recently purchased my Power Stretch Tee to use during cold runs in the winter months. I bought a M and am 6'0 about 170lbs...I probably should have gone with the L. If I'm wearing it as a baselayer it fits great, but for runs where I want to use minimal clothing it's a bit small and comes up over my waist as I'm going through my gait cycle. Overall it's a great product. Great elasticity, breathability and provides tons of warmth. I actually wore this when it was 30 degrees outside and halfway through my run I wanted to take it off because I was sweating so much.
Definitely recommend, but depending on your activity, you may want to consider going up a size.

i wore this ice climbing over the top of a lightweight baselayer. we worked up a sweat going in. after stopping and putting on a belay parka over my softshell this thing dried out with just my body heat in about 15 min. not to mention it's warm and toasty! another great product from MHW

Very Nice.

I have used this layer for cold weather running. It has worked great, keeping me warm even in windy conditions. I have worn this with nothing else, in temperatures in the mid thirties and been completely warm.

If you can only afford one base-mid-layer article of clothing, buy this and the tights. That's all you will need. If the weather is 32F / 0C you will be too hot, otherwise it's an essential piece of clothing for winter. I've used the reversible feature many times, nice idea = works.

Blocks wind well for a fleece, love the reversibility option. The thumb holes are well done so don't let wind drafts in but still are available. Higher collar than used to but when zipped up does not feel constricting, higher than most jackets without a hood.

Great midlayer piece

Very nice top, well-thought out design, great fit (slightly looser cut than the micro powerstretch top - works great as a 2nd layer if you are slim like me, or will give a snugger fit if you have a thicker build. I'm 6' 160-165 and got the large, and large almost always fits me in MHW tops. The collar on this is quite high so it keeps your neck warm when it is cold - but that makes it less suitable for daily use. This is a very light, highly technical top with everything you need and nothing you don't. Very warm, cut is great, long zipper for venting - super stretchy fabric, minimal seams, etc. All in all they could not have done a better job and I highly recommend this top. I am a big fan of MHW products as they tend to fit me well and perform flawlessly in the field.

This works great cold weather aerobic activity. Wore it today 44F on a 1.5 hour hard bike ride with a gortex shell over it. Came home and the zip tee was "wringing wet" with sweat and still toasty warm. The light version of this shirt may work a bit better as this one was pretty warm. I'm amazed how well it traps heat while soaking wet.

great shirt

This is a extremely warm baselayer. I like the 3" stand up collar, but the zipper tends to unzip not enough to be annoying. I wore the Zip Tee along with a jacket and stayed completely warm when it was 17 degrees and a 15-25 mph wind, so no complaints about warmth. Another great product from MHW. Good job.

Great Product

I bought this a little larger than normal to allow plenty of flexibility and freedom of movement. The fit turns out to be perfect. I also wanted the 3-inch stand-up collar to protect my throat from cold and wind. This is the best collar of ANY baselayer product on the market. I will probably pick up a couple more of them.

I put it runs "a bit small" because I purchased an XL, and usually I swim in XL stuff, but this runs about perfect for a base layer/close to skin. That's what I plan on using it for, so it will work great in that regard for me.
It's powerstretch, polar tec material. Fits nice, feels nice, works nice. Nothing real fancy in it's practical use, it just works. I like the thumb holes and the high collar (very high) as for winter it will be great for covering all the nooks and crannies in the arms and neck.

I was facilitating a high ropes course and it was about freezing with a light snow coming down. I was only wearing this and was toasty warm. It didn't hold up god agenst the wind but i was still warm. I took it om a trip up camels hump the other weekend and it was 20 then a 30mph wind with snow. I had this and a shoftshell on and was still vary warm.

Power Stretch

One of the best mid/heavy weight layers around. Its the warmest and most comfortable layer in my closet. I believe this and the Patagonia R1 Flash Pullover to be the two best cold weather layers on the market, although the r1 is not as warm as the power stretch. Moisture management is superb. Just a very high quality top.
